How to

Same night or next morning is enough

You do not need a perfect delay strategy. A short message the same night or the next morning usually lands better than a three-day silence that creates anxiety on both sides.

Reference one real moment

Generic “had a great time” is fine. Specific is better: the story they told, the place you both liked, the joke that stuck. Specificity proves attention.

Suggest a light next step

If you want to see them again, say so and propose something low-pressure tied to what you learned about them. Ambiguous vibes create more overthinking than a clear, kind invite.
